Logic Pro/Express 8: Logic may quit unexpectedly when adjusting some Apple Audio Unit plug-ins with Mac OS X v10.6
Symptoms
You may notice Logic Pro 8 and Logic Express 8 quit unexpectedly when you click the Details disclosure triangle on Apple Audio Unit plug-ins on Mac OS X v10.6.

Logic Express 8, Logic Pro 8
Resolution
Follow these steps to work around this issue:
- Open GarageBand and insert the Apple Audio Unit on a track.
- Make the desired adjustments in the plug-in interface and save it as a preset.
- Open Logic and load the plug-in preset.
Notes:
- Logic 8 has not been tested with Mac OS X v10.6.
- Logic 9 is not affected by this issue.
- The following Apple Audio Units have a Details disclosure triangle and are potentially affected by this issue:
- AUDelay
- AUDynamicsProcessor
- AUMultibandCompressor
