iMovie for iPhone 4: Why are videos shared through the Camera Roll at a lower resolution?
When sharing your finished iMovie video, the Camera Roll compresses the video to 568×320 in order to improve upload performance. The full-resolution version of your video remains in the Camera Roll, and you can transfer this version back to your computer when you connect your iPhone.
